Protecting heritage to build peace
From May 19 to 21, 2026, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information, hosted the IV International Kazakhstan Museum Congress and the "Kazakhstan – France 2026" Museology Forum. The event was organized in partnership with the Embassy of the French Republic in Kazakhstan and with grant support from the ALIPH Foundation and the European Union. “Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage: Innovation and Digital Transformation” was the theme of the event.
