Conserving Artifacts at the National Museum of Antiquities

Artifacts at the National Museum of Antiquities in Dushanbe are at risk due to aging materials, old restoration methods, and poor storage conditions. This project will restore and stabilize key objects, improve storage through better climate control and shelving, and train museum staff in conservation practices, ensuring these valuable pieces can be preserved and shared with both researchers and the public.
