Palestinian thobes (traditional embroidered dresses) date to possibly as far back as 1600 BCE, with techniques having been passed on among women from generation to generation. The goals of this project are the conservation of 100 thobes, the establishment of a textile conservation department, and the development of the Palestinian Museum's collection management capacities.

This project is led by ALIPH in partnership with the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
