Digitizing the Archaeological Museum Collections of the American University of Beirut
Beirut, Lebanon
The collections of the Archaeological Museum of the American University of Beirut face a range of risks in a challenging security context. This project supports their documentation by rapidly digitizing around 2,000 artifacts, including pottery, figurines, inscriptions, and glassware. Using 3D recording techniques, the goal of the project is to create detailed digital records to support preservation, access, and emergency preparedness.
