Digitizing Yaghnobi Traditions in Tajikistan

This project safeguards the intangible heritage of the Yaghnob community through digital innovation, creative skills training, and regional exchange on urban artisanry and cultural entrepreneurship. Activities include digitizing 160 ornamental patterns, launching a trilingual online platform, and training 100 artisans in creative and business skills. A solar-powered sewing center in the Yaghnob Valley will support women’s craft production, while a closing forum in Dushanbe will share results and build a lasting Tajik–Kazakh peer network.
