This objective of this project is to safeguard endangered Palestinian collections in East Jerusalem while strengthening conservation and digitization capacities across the West Bank. The activities of the project are to document, inventory, digitize, and safeguard the Hind Husseini Foundation and Palestinian Heritage Museum in Sheikh Jarrah, including more than 4,000 artifacts. The project also supports 12 cultural institutions across 6 West Bank governorates, with a particular focus on safeguarding their documentary heritage and archival collections through practical training in conservation, digitization, archiving, and emergency evacuation. In addition, six local digitization units will be established to strengthen long-term preservation and resilience.
