Emergency Digital Preservation of the Institutional Archive of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo

The archives of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, a key human rights organization, contain invaluable records documenting Argentina’s recent history. Today, these materials, ranging from paper records, photographs, VHS tapes, and audio cassettes, are at risk of deterioration. The goal of this work is to build the first comprehensive digital copy of the collection, ensuring its long-term preservation and accessibility.
