Protection, Conservation, Restoration and Promotion of Fort William, Ghana

Fort William, a landmark of Ghana’s coastal heritage, stands as a powerful symbol for the Anomabo community. Now threatened by erosion, sea-level rise, and decay, this project will restore the fort,and community members will be engaged through skills training in heritage conservation and climate resilience. The project will also establish a local museum and library to celebrate and share Anomabo’s rich cultural history.
