Founded in 1835, the Ecole des Trois Docteurs is one of the first missions of the Greek-Orthodox church in Lebanon and one of Beirut’s oldest schools. The school grounds, especially its central courtyard, nursery building, and other buildings of Ottoman architectural style, were heavily damaged by the 4 August 2020 explosion. Restoration works include replacing broken windows and doors, consolidating damaged walls, and restoring the roof.
