Restoring Shushanavank Monastery Complex in the Armavir Region
Armenia
This project will restore the medieval Shushanavank Monastic Complex, located near the Armenian–Turkish border and at risk of collapse due to structural damage, weather, and seismic threats. Based on detailed studies, works will focus on restoring the main church, stabilizing remaining structures, and improving access. Beyond preserving a site of high cultural value, the project also supports local revitalization and carries symbolic importance for dialogue and peace in the region.
