Safeguarding the Union of Artisans Collection

The private collection of the Union of Artisans contains over 600 traditional Kazakh craft objects, including textiles, ceramics, leatherwork, woodcarving, and jewellery. Poor storage conditions are currently endangering the objects. The goals of the project are to stabilize, safeguard, and document the collection to preserve its cultural, historical, and artistic value.
