A symbol of the Sursock family’s rich history, the Sursock Palace is an important heritage landmark in Beirut known for its unique architecture, craftsmanship, and artworks. Located less than 500 meters away from the 4 August 2020 blast, the building was heavily damaged. This project financed the most urgent stabilization efforts, including the covering of roofs and windows with temporary protection and propping of the main façade to prevent collapse.
